that’s totally okay!

They don’t fully connect the words with meaning until around 9 to 14 months

• Laughing is everything right now — and there’s nothing sweeter than that giggle!

• Try a simple game: drop a toy and act surprised every time. It helps build
memory and teaches cause and effect

💞 Emotional Development:

• Separation anxiety might start — baby gets clingier and wants mama close all the
time (totally normal!)

• Even if they used to be super social, they might suddenly seem shy — and that’s
okay too. Don’t worry
💛

clinginess continues a bit longer… and that’s totally okay
💛

both are normal

🎉 Your Baby Is ONE!

Can you believe it’s been a whole year?

I know it feels like time flew by — the moments you thought would never pass… did.

And it was a beautiful year. You watched your baby grow right before your eyes. 💛

So what should your one-year-old be doing now? And how can you support them?

 Physical Development:

• Standing with support and moving around

• Some babies may even take their first steps — but don’t worry if yours hasn’t yet, many don’t walk right at 12
months

🧠 Cognitive Development:

At this age, your baby is like a little sponge — soaking up everything!

So start teaching them gently:

• Say things like: “Get the ball,” “That’s a tree,” “Let’s close the door”

• Teach animal names and fruits: carrot, cucumber, lion, camel

• Use small toys or objects — point and name: hand, hair, nose… your baby will learn faster than you think!

💞 Emotional + Social Development:

• They’ll want to be more independent — trying to pull off their socks, or feed themselves with a spoon

• Encourage these little steps — they’re learning how to do things “all by myself!”

🎂 And now… it’s time to start planning that first birthday party!

You made it, mama. And your baby did too. 💕✨
